Most of our apartment work is in the high-rises and mid-rises around Uptown, South End, NoDa, and Plaza Midwood, and those buildings all have their own rules. Some want us checked in at the front desk, some need a service elevator reserved, some make you park two blocks away and haul everything in. We've done it enough times that it doesn't slow us down. Put your building name and access instructions in the booking notes and we'll sort it out with management before we show up.
Smaller units get cleaned faster, which means a standard clean on a one-bedroom usually runs two to three hours with one cleaner. That's why apartment pricing is set by unit size instead of a walkthrough, there's no reason to make you wait for an estimate on a studio.
Move-out cleaning is the most requested apartment job we do, and it's a completely different scope from a regular clean. Property managers in Charlotte inspect the same things every time: inside the oven, inside the fridge, cabinet interiors, baseboards, blinds, and any scuff on the wall where furniture used to be. We clean to that list.
We work in empty units, so book us after the movers are out and before your final walkthrough. If your lease ends on the 31st, aim for the 29th or 30th so there's room to fix anything the property manager flags. Bring us the move-out checklist your leasing office gave you and we'll follow it line by line.
We also handle move-in cleaning. A unit that was professionally turned over still isn't clean the way you'd want it before you unpack your kitchen.
Bi-weekly is the sweet spot for most apartments. Weekly makes sense if you have a roommate, a dog, or a job that keeps you out of the house. Monthly works if you tidy up on your own and just want the bathrooms and kitchen handled properly.
Recurring clients keep the same cleaner whenever the schedule allows, which matters more than people expect. Somebody who's been in your apartment five times already knows you don't want the throw pillows rearranged and that the second bathroom barely gets used.
